Part of the Living Arts Centre, the mandate of the Laidlaw Hall Art Gallery is to nurture, foster, encourage and support the growth of artists from within the Mississauga community. About six group art exhibitions are hosted each year. Tues to Sat 10 am 4 pm, Sun 1 - 4 pm.
With a mission to promote awareness and the appreciation of the visual arts, this public art gallery has 3000 square feet of exhibit space housing a Permanent Art Collection of 400 works with an emphasis on Canadian artists. A number of yearly exhibitions feature works from the permanent collection. Mon to Fri 9 am - 5 pm, Sat & Sun noon - 4 pm. Admission free.
The Blackwood Gallery collects, maintains, preserves and exhibits works of the University of Toronto at Mississauga's permanent collection. The primary focus is prints and multiples, including Canadian and international works, both historical and contemporary. The secondary focus is a collection of other media. Mon to Fri 11 am - 5 pm, Sun 1 - 5 pm.
